Hello and welcome,

This web site represents a portion of my academic and personal design work. It could be considered my online portfolio, but in fact it is so much more.

This web site is an experiment in expression, a reflection of my desire to learn, and a vehicle for communication. It displays my need to create, my personal drive to take design further, and it serves as a portal into my aesthetic perspective.

This web site also carries with it the voices of the institutions that harbored and have influenced me throughout my education. From the Magnet Architecture and Design program I attended in high school, through my time spent at the College of Design, Construction, and Planning at the University of Florida, to finally receiving my master's degree in architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture, the voices of those institutions can be heard throughout my work.

This web site is lastly a project in and of itself, which like any project that has been put up on display, it to is up for review. I welcome any and all critiques, comments, and suggestions, both of the site and of all its contents.

Enjoy,
Michael Garito
